Soccer Cleats – are preferred for soccer however, a good athletic sneaker is acceptable. Cleats are preferred especially with
older players because they supply better traction & stability for running and turning. Cleats are especially best when playing on a
wet field.
Shorts – or an athletic type pant should be worn while playing soccer. Jeans and jean shorts can restrict a players movements
and possibly chafe the legs.
Water Bottle – marked with the player's name is needed for every practice and game. Hydration is very important for the
soccer player. No soda or sugary drink should be consumed during practices or games. Water is the best drink for the athlete.
